Playing Catch-up

Carrie and I on the Snowmobile

We hope to dog sled next year!

Kelli and I downtown.

Our trip to Colorado back at the first of the year went great. The girls did something a little different. We rode snowmobiles!! It was definately worth it. To be able to climb to the top of a mountain at 40 miles an hour and not have to do any work to get there (or back down) was awesome. We drove to a look out point on the continental divide. When Carrie told me that was where we would be going, I didn't want to show my ignorance by asking 'what is the continental divide?' so i just played it off with a 'ahhh that sounds sooo cool'. But by quietly asking around, I found out that I was not the only one in the dark! I love it when I'm not the only one!! Anyways, here is a picture from the top!

Oh, and if you are wondering why I am posting stuff from Christmas and the beginning of the year, I am getting everyone up to speed on what's been happening in 2008.

I hope I'm never un-Invited!

Zach and I cooking our own steaks...aren't we at a restaurant???
Watchout....

Every year Carson PT has their annual Christmas party somewhere really cool. This year we went to The Butcher Shop in west Little Rock. It's kind of neat because you can cook your own steaks if you so choose. Not something I would do every time, but every once in a while it is fun to play chef in someone else's kitchen!

For Christmas, Zach got me.....a puppy!! She is a Brindle Cairn Terrier, just like Toto. Well, I guess Toto was black, but same breed anyhow. I know, I needed another dog like I needed a hole in my head. But now, I wouldn't trade her for the world. House training was an experience. Made me rethink the having kids. There were many days I thought about just making her an outside dog, but in the now, she has made herself home in the house. Sleepin in the bed and everything! Leash training is the next hurdle. She would rather lead herself than you lead her, and her leash doubles as her favorite toy.
